Are you totally blown away by all the dismal reports on housing values that are in the news today? You are not alone. It's been a rough and rocky ride for homeowners the last few years. It's not hard to be "upside down" in your mortgage with the onslaught of foreclosures flooding the market causing values to plumet. It's hard to know what to do or believe. I have seen all types of markets in my 25 years experience Selling Homes in North Carolina. I know you may be discouraged, but the market is slowing rebounding. An appraisal from last year is not going to be accurate this year. Even three months can cause a change either way. All I know is that I can help you moniter this flucuation in the market for your home. It has to be realistic if you are thinking of Selling. There is no sugar coating it with today's buyers. On the other hand, if you are the Buyer, you are equally interested in the history of a particular home or neighborhood before making that offer. I believe there is a realistic meeting  zone between both Buyer and Seller and a good Realtor helps find that Zone. It can be a win/win for all. In a tough market you need a Realtor that will be honest with you. It is not always easy. The choice is to overprice a property and have it sit for a year or two and miss a good buying opportunity,  or be realistic and move it so you can capture the optimun value in your new home. That is your call. I am not a sugar coated "Realtor". If you want an honest answer, call me. I never want to have clients leave money on the table, but, making hard calls and telling you the truth is what you expect a professional to do. I am a Professional Realtor and have been for 25 Years. Let's Talk.
